Incidences Which Shook Ghana in 2017
Ghana has had its dark times, just like any Country. The year 2017 will be a year that will stay in the minds of Ghanaians for very long time.
2017 has been one of the bad years in Ghana’s history. We had so many bad things happened at the same time. From Fire outbreaks,Suicides,Rape and more Unpleasant events.
HelpinGhana.com decided to look at some of those incidences which shook the whole nation.

Here are some of the incidences which shook Ghana in 2017.
1 . Fire Outbreaks.
Fire outbreaks occur all the time but the multiple outbreaks in Ghana in 2017 leave much to be desired.This fire outbreaks caused damage to life and properties.
Some of places where we had fire out breaks were, Groupe Nduom building that houses the headquarters of GN BANK & AMANSAN TV, Kumasi Central market fire outbreak,Asuom Secondary school, etc.
2. Kintampo Waterfalls Disaster.
On 19Th March 2017, 18 people died at the kintampo Waterfalls in the Brong Ahafo Region. Reports indicate that accident happened around 4:30pm on Sunday. Students from Wenchi Methodist SHS and University of Energy and Natural Resource were involved. This was as a result of huge tree that run off the top of the waterfall.
3. Gas explosions.
Ghana has seen more than five Gas explosion this year, from the Trade Fair explosion, Tamale Gas explosion, in May, Gas tanker explosion at Kasoa in September, Atomic Gas explosion that killed more than seven people over 130 people to injured.
4.Captain Mahama’s gruesome murder
The Nation was shocked by the gruesome murder of Capt. Maxwell Mahama when the video of the barbaric act went viral. Captain Mahama was killed by some residence of Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region. He was on Operational duties at the Alaska C&G Mining Company at Amansase Forest near Diaso in Central Region.
5. KABA’s Death.
Asempa Fm’s Political show host, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong known as KABA death was unexpected but expected. Kaba died at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, he was rushed to the hospital after his sugar level shot up but unfortunately, he could not make it.
This are some of the incidences which shook our Nation but we have since healed, maybe what is remaining is the scars.
